ScoCar was founded
in January 2000 and specializes only in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Prior to this, ScoCar personnel provided marketing, advertising and PR
expertise to company's like Paxton Products, Vortech Engineering and others since 1989. We've taken a $2 million dollar
company to over $12 million in just six short years. We've taken a
start-up mail order performance business from $10,000 a month in sales to
$200,000 plus a month in sales in just three short years. We developed
the marketing idea for the first fourth generation F-body torque arm, 200MPH
speedometer and silicone radiator hoses to name but a few. We helped
market a limited production tuner Camaro to the masses. And, we helped
successfully market centrifugal supercharger systems (one of the most
technologically advanced and difficult to understand performance products
available).

Scott's interest in high performance started when, as a small child, he read every issue of Hot Rod magazine he could get his hands on from cover to cover. Later, he was inspired by movies like Grand Prix, The Gumball Rally, Hot Rod, Lemans, Mad Max and Vanishing Point. After modifying his first hot rod, Scott has embarked on a relentless pursuit of learning as much as about the automotive aftermarket industry as possible. Scott graduated from Grand View college in 1993 with a B.A. (Marketing Emphasis). From March 1989 through December 1999, Scott provided his marketing, advertising and pr expertise to notable industry icons like Paxton Products, Inc., Vortech Engineering, Inc. and
