When your brake calipers start leaking or seizing up, it's time to replace them.  We can professionally remanufacture your originals but that will cost more than twice what these brand new calipers cost plus it will take at least 3-weeks for remanufacturing to better than new and show correct. 

Your most cost effective option is this suitable replacement reproduction of the 1971-75 Kelsey Hayes front disc brake calipers.  They are virtually the same as your originals except your brake hose will require slightly different routing from your originals.  However, these brake calipers will fit your AMC and will get you on the road safely, securely, and fast - see installation note below.  They are cast in the USA by a leading brake manufacturer (NO Chinesium or off shore questionable quality).

• *Pre-Installation Notice:  These calipers are drilled at a slight angle.  The neck of your brake hose will point back towards the brake caliper (which is slightly different from your originals).  After test fitting the brake hose on your car, put a pipe wrench over the metal tube part of your brake hose. This is the part of your brake hose coming out of the brake caliper. Slightly bend it back to just clear your suspension.  This is a simple modification that should only take about 5 minutes per caliper.  
• Not Included:  Mounting brackets, brake pads, caliper lines, brake hoses, or pipe wrench for brake hose modification.  Semi-metallic and carbon kevlar brake pads, caliper lines, and stainless braided D.O.T. teflon line brake hoses are available separately.
